Your website looks great, and everything is set up and ready for customers. But what happens if the sales don't come?
This can be especially frustrating if you have adequate traffic flow to your website, but visitors don't take the time to share their contact information or hit the purchase button. That said, here are my favorite tips for getting more customers into your sales funnel.
Cleco shares utility assistance information with customers
PINEVILLE, La. – June 8, 2021 – Cleco Power customers who meet the eligibility requirements for the U.S. Treasury Emergency Rental Assistance Program being administered by the State of Louisiana can receive assistance paying past-due and current utility bills and some late fees dating back as far as April 1, 2020.
The program was implemented in March of this year to aid renters and landlords experiencing financial hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In May, Gov. John Bel Edwards announced the program was being expanded to include utility bills in an effort to help residents who are not only struggling to pay rent but also struggling to pay utilities, including electricity, gas, fuel oil, water and sewer and trash removal.
Business offers incentives to customers to find workers | KHON2
HONOLULU (KHON2) — Business owners struggling to find workers are taking recruiting efforts to another level.
“Because who knows better than you what kind of great employees that we have right?” said owner Tom Jones to his customers.
He just launched the incentive program. Customers can get a $25 gift certificate for referring someone who applies and interviews. If they stay on for three months, the customer gets a $500 gift certificate. If a manager is hired, the customer gets a $1,000 certificate.
You Need to Capture Your Customers' Trust | Inc.com
How, when, and how many of your long-term customers will be back? Do they have confidence that you've successfully weathered the Covid-19 storm and, more important, do they still trust you? You might even ask whether they trust anyone these days.
This is a difficult question to answer in the post-pandemic world and it's not getting any easier to figure out in the increasingly toxic atmosphere that surrounds us. Trust, in the best of times, is a precious and delicate notion and suspicion, not even proof, is enough in many cases to destroy its fragile fabric. Add in an out-of-control segment of the media and dozens of lying politicians promoting destructive fictions, and you have chaos, turmoil, and rampant misinformation.
Kerrs Creek Community Market connects small farmers with customers
ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - It looks like a farmers' market, and in a way it is, but it's also a solution to an economic problem.
"The hardest thing we have is how do we reach a customer," said Steve Hart, Kerrs Creek Community Market organizer, "and we got together and said, look, let's just do this. Let's put together a market here in our community for our community."
It's a gathering of small producers, like Lisa Martone of M&M Farms ("We raise fresh-cut flowers and fresh lavender and make homemade soap products") Carol McClure of Whistle Creek Pet Nutrition ("I make all these myself") or Emily Hall of Razzborne Farm ("We've made cheese for eight years now"), who have pulled together to bring their products to customers.
Starbucks letting customers bring personal mugs again
The coffee chain used to encourage customers to bring their own cups to avoid waste but it stopped last March because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Starting June 22, customers can once again get a cup of joe in their own mugs, but don't expect it to be the same as it was.
Baristas aren't allowed to touch personal mugs anymore which means they also can't wash them, so make sure to clean that cup.
