Years ago, I sat in on a sales presentation. The salesperson shared three options a client might expect when doing business with his company. The options were high quality, quick service and low price. He told the customer, "You get to choose two of the three."
Here is the bottom line: customers expect more than they ever have before from the places they do business with. They don't want to choose two out of three. They demand all three—and more. The only area in which they may be more flexible is price, as the value they receive can help make price less relevant. Customers want a fair price—not necessarily the lowest—but demand value in the experience, which includes convenience and service.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Hurricane Delta was not as strong as Hurricane Laura, but the storm did cause more damage in regards to power outages.
According to Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards, crews are working to restore power to 600,000 people, which is roughly 25% of all power customers in the entire state.
"With respect to power outages, oddly enough, because Hurricane Delta was much larger in terms of its wind field, there were more power outages with Delta than there were with Laura," Gov. Edwards said during a press conference held in Baton Rouge on Saturday.

"Business has been very brisk," Hoover Tactical Firearm Co-owner Gene Smith said. "People are concerned. We have a presidential election going on and it happens every four years, things get very busy."

Sources have told TechCrunch that Twilio intends to acquire customer data startup Segment for between $3 and $4 billion. Forbes broke the story on Friday night, reporting a price tag of $3.2 billion.
We have heard from a couple of industry sources that the deal is in the works and could be announced as early as Monday.
Segment has made a name for itself by providing a set of APIs that enable it to gather data about a customer from a variety of sources like your CRM tool, customer service application and website and pull that all together into a single view of the customer, something that is the goal of every company in the customer information business.

Oddly, some fast food chains haven't been so very good at the fast part of their promise. They say they make fast food, but it doesn't always come out as quickly as customers would like.

In the footage, a man can be seen arguing with a woman behind the counter of the Burger King, but it is not clear what either is saying. He is not wearing a mask, however. The worker behind the counter seems to refuse to serve the man his food and walks away, appearing to be angry.
