KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Knoxville Utilities Board reports that crews are continuing to work to restore power to approximately 3,300 customers.
This after around 60 crews including assistance from Lenoir City Utility Board, Appalachian Electric Cooperative, crews from Nashville, Jackson, Alabama, Kentucky, and North Carolina worked through the night.
KUB says that the estimated restoration time is unknown, as this multi-day event will reportedly last until at least Sunday afternoon.

NEW YORK (AP) — Dan Marshall's toy store should be crowded this time of the year with parents and grandparents buying gifts and children trying out games. Instead, only a handful of customers are in Mischief Toy Store at any time, and their visits are short and efficient.

Fewer than 800 customers of Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. remained without power Saturday afternoon in the wake of a wind and rain storm that raked the Mid-Hudson Valley and Catskills late Thursday and early Christmas Day.
At the height of the outages, Friday morning, about 42,000 of Central Hudson's 306,000 customers were without electricity across the utility's eight-county coverage area.
