Volunteers tackle Reserve Street shopping cart issue

MISSOULA — Driving along Reserve Street you've probably noticed the buildup of shopping carts that typically line the sidewalks.

After Sunday's event, those carts will be returned to their stores, thanks to a small group of community volunteers.

"We've got a handful of people here today. We're hoping to build momentum and awareness and start doing some broader efforts in the corridor to keep it beautiful, to keep it Missoula," said community volunteer Kevin Davis.

To quote Jane, “We’re getting married!” And by we, she means Sutton and Richard.

It’s only been a couple of episodes since Richard proposed to Sutton in an empty boardroom on The Bold Type , but if we know anything, it’s that weddings take time to plan. And if we know Sutton — which, after four seasons, we’re going to say we do — we’d say picking her wedding dress is going to be the biggest decision of her big day. Why Grocery Stores Have Kid-Sized Shopping Carts | Mental Floss

While watching little kids push miniature shopping carts through grocery aisles can definitely be amusing, stores like Food Lion and Trader Joe's don't keep them in stock solely to entertain their grown-up customers.

In reality, it's more about occupying the kids so their parents can shop without too many interruptions—and if you've ever witnessed a toddler have an all-out meltdown in the middle of a supermarket , you might have an idea of just how important that can be.
