So who is this NOW customer? It's someone who is always on, always online expecting rapid resolutions and engaged interactions from their brands at all times and across every touchpoint. And they are growing in numbers: according to Zendesk research , 65% of consumers expect customer service to be faster now than it was 5 years ago.
If a brand falls short of meeting the NOW customer on their terms, they leave their customers (or would-be customers) feeling neglected, something few businesses can afford. Forrester Research reports that 53% of US adults are likely to abandon their online purchase if they can't find a quick answer to their question.

APS Taps Wind to Deliver Clean Energy to its Customers | North American Windpower
Customers of Arizona Public Service Co. (APS) will soon power their homes and businesses with more clean energy. Earlier this year, APS announced a new commitment to deliver 100% clean, carbon-free electricity to customers by 2050. By the end of 2021, APS will harness the power of Leeward Renewable Energy's advanced GE wind turbine technology to help meet Arizona's growing energy demands.
APS has entered into a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Leeward to purchase wind energy output from Leeward's two Aragonne Wind facilities. The PPA resulted from a September 2019 wind request for proposal. This PPA enables Leeward to sell 200 MW of wind generation to APS over a term of 20 years through the repowering of Leeward's existing 90 MW Aragonne Wind project and the construction of its 145 MW Aragonne Mesa Wind project. Both facilities are located within Guadalupe County, N.M.

Stores bracing for high online volume are asking customers to buy early
NEW YORK — Retailers and carriers are preparing for an online holiday shopping surge that could test shipping networks and lead to delivery delays.
FedEx and UPS are ramping up their holiday hiring while expanding their weekend operations and asking retailers to use their shipping network when there is more slack. And stores are pushing shoppers to buy early and are expanding services like curbside pickup to minimize the need for delivery.
For the last few years, many retailers had been using their own physical stores, in addition to their distribution centers, to fulfill online orders. But now they are designating some of those stores to handle even higher volumes. Best Buy, for example, converted space in 250 of its 1,000 stores this fall to manage online orders.
