If you are of a certain age, you might remember the joy of buying, collecting and trading sports cards. It used to be a popular hobby, then fell out of favor. But now, apparently, it's back.
It turns out this is yet another unexpected side effect of the pandemic, and as more people are collecting, the value of certain cards is skyrocketing.
Ken Goldin, a collectible card auctioneer, remembers auctioning off a 2009 autographed Mike Trout baseball card in May. In case you don’t know, Trout is a center fielder for the Los Angeles Angels, three-time American League most valuable player and a seven-time winner of the Silver Slugger Award.

Hard decisions loom in prioritizing who gets COVID-19 vaccine first - Marketplace
The European Commission is expected to approve on Tuesday a supply contract for Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine, which the company this week said is more than 90% effective according to early clinical trial data.
The vaccine is still undergoing tests, but once it — or another candidate — gets the regulatory seal of approval, how is a vaccine program of this size and scale rolled out worldwide?
It's not just bottling doses, finding enough syringes or transporting vaccines at the right temperatures. Public health officials have large questions looming, like who gets the first doses: front-line workers or vulnerable populations?

The newest Xbox was just released and it's almost impossible to find in local stores or online.

If you're a hardcore gamer then yesterday was a big day for you if you're also an X Box fan. November 10 was the release of the new Xbox Series S and X.
Ulta Beauty will open mini-shops within Target stores - Marketplace
The beauty and cosmetics retail chain Ulta Beauty and Target announced a partnership Tuesday . Ulta Beauty plans to open over 100 dedicated mini-shops inside Target stores.
The move is, in part, a response to changing consumer behavior during the pandemic and is expected to benefit both retailers.
The partnership means Ulta Beauty will be expanding at a time when lots of other retailers are struggling. Neil Saunders, an analyst with GlobalData, said this type of growth is less risky than opening new stores. “Going into a Target is a relatively safe bet, you know. The foot traffic is there,” he said.
