"Video was shot last week and we hope to have it out quickly," Clardy said. "I'm really excited about it."

New Jersey needs business... and a good ad campaign

Last week, Assemblyman Ron Dancer, R-Ocean, proposed a measure to require the state Division of Tourism to produce videos that promote tourism. Sure, that's a decent idea to try to get people to come to New Jersey and support our economy, hobbled by a tyrannical governor who shut everything down.

Along with the videos, we need a decent slogan. We haven't really had one since former Gov. Tom Kean used to say, "New Jersey and you puh-fect together" in the '80s.

The new ad opens with a close-up shot of a mother speaking about being unable to hug her own mother since the pandemic began, and then is joined by other moms echoing the same sentiment. The message is that vaccines work, and that if we all do our part, we can put an end to the virus, according to spokesperson Martha Dominguez. She says the ads are necessary to help fight back against vaccine misinformation.

'Made In Mundelein' ad campaign geared at increasing local business, community pride, officials

After months in the making, Mundelein is launching their new advertising campaign centered around helping businesses in town while also promoting pride in the community.

The "Made In Mundelein" campaign is aimed at helping advertise the various businesses within the village, officials said. Though, Mayor Steve Lentz said the goal goes beyond encouraging residents to shop locally.

He said the village wants to increase pride in the community "on multiple levels," including between both customer-to-business and business-to-business. This also includes what Lentz called taking pride in the unique offerings Mundelein provides.

TikTok's U.S. ad business roars back as Trump's threats recede | Reuters

(Reuters) - Accused by the Trump administration of being a front for the Chinese government, TikTok's ad business looked bleak last July.

Big brands backed off on spending even as TikTok executives offered refunds to advertisers in the event the hot social media platform were to be banned from operating in the United States.

But after it became clear Joe Biden had won November's U.S presidential election, that all changed.

"The interest in TikTok has exploded," said Erica Patrick, vice president and director of social media at Mediahub Worldwide, which has worked with brands including Netflix and Twitch. She said she expects client spending to increase significantly over the next six months.
