Pro-Biden Group to Begin Ad Campaign Promoting His Agenda in Swing States - The New York Times

WASHINGTON — A new group dedicated to promoting President Biden's ambitious agenda is beginning a multimillion-dollar ad campaign trumpeting his Covid recovery package and infrastructure proposal while contrasting Mr. Biden's low-key style with his bombastic predecessor's.

Building Back Together, a progressive organization run by Biden allies, will air minute-long television commercials next week in Pennsylvania, Nevada, Georgia and Wisconsin that highlight the president's response to the coronavirus and his wide-ranging economic plans. The group is planning to spend over $3 million on a monthlong effort, including a shorter advertisement that will appear on digital platforms in the same four states and in North Carolina.

Taco Bell enlists ‘world’s largest influencer’ for new ad campaign | KMJ-AF1

It’s not a celebrity, but Taco Bell has enlisted something equally as recognizable for its first-ever global ad campaign: the moon.

On May 4, the moon will closely resemble a taco during its waning crescent phase, so Taco Bell is calling it the “Taco Moon.” To celebrate, it’s planning to hand out for free the most tacos it ever has gifted on a single day and kick off a new ad campaign promoting its global expansion.

On that day, fans in the United States can get a free Crunchy Taco between 8 pm and 11:59 pm local time if they order in-store — or they can get a free taco at any time May 4 if they order on the Taco Bell app. Other countries will celebrate the Taco Moon, too: Restaurants in United Kingdom, India, Australia and other countries will be giving away a Crunchy Taco in addition to a specialized local offer.

NH Primary Source: New AFP-NH ad, grassroots campaign urges Hassan to 'keep her word' on

Chief among the "select senators" being targeted is New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan, who has opposed changing the filibuster rule in the past but who Republicans and conservatives say could shift her position under pressure from Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

The focus of the AFP-New Hampshire portion of the campaign is to remind Hassan that in 2017, when Republicans were in the Senate majority, she was among 61 senators of both parties who signed a letter urging then-Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to maintain the 60-vote threshold.
