Amy McCullough is the owner and director of Macon Clay at 362 Second Street, next to Genny's New Beginnings and Fatty's Pizza.
Macon Clay does afterschool and evening clay classes for kids ages 6 and up. They also have adult classes and private classes.
"Anything from birthday parties to girls night out to family night," McCullough said. "It's anything you can think of."
There's also a gallery space, where there are featured pieces for sale from local adult and child artists.

Fire Truck Collides with Car, Crashes into BK Storefront
The impact from the crash took out most of the store's front wall. The store is now out of commission just days before Christmas.
"With all that's going on now with corona, closing, opening, and now you have a couple days you're open and you're happy - then boom, this happens," said David Levy, a friend of the store owner.

Medford Storefront Awning Collapses, Injuring Woman – NBC Boston
A woman was injured Friday morning when a large storefront awning collapsed, crashing onto the sidewalk she was standing on in Medford, Massachusetts.
Medford fire officials said the incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Riverside Avenue in busy Medford Square. Images from the scene showed the awning partially collapsed in front of the Cash Point pawn shop.

Businesses board up storefronts out of caution for potential protests
MADISON, Wis. — Several businesses along Capitol Square boarded up their storefronts in preparation of possible protests this weekend.
On Monday, the FBI warned of possible planned armed protests at all 50 State Capitols to happen Sunday.
CEO of YWCA Madison Vanessa McDowell said she is hoping any protests that happen remain peaceful but boarded up her business out of caution to protect what she and the YWCA stands for.
