How a small business owner has kept his staff working - Marketplace
Reema Khrais: So I want to start with a big picture here. How is your business? How are things going these days compared to when we last talked at the start of the pandemic?
Drew Dalzell: Well, we’re still standing. I just wanted to make it through 2020, and we did. I have all of my-full time employees still with me, which is huge. But it’s been a rough year. You know, we made a scant percentage of what we made the year before and the year before that, but but we’re all still standing and the business is still here.

The ChannelFireball Marketplace will launch with support for Magic: the Gathering as well as Pokemon and Flesh and Blood, though support for other games is in the works. Charities, nonprofits alter pandemic volunteer operations - Marketplace
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service, a day for Americans to volunteer to help improve their community. In the middle of an unprecedented health and economic crisis, there are plenty of people in need of that help. But the pandemic has complicated how charities and nonprofits operate.
Normally, Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena, California, would be gathering a small army of volunteers on MLK Day to prepare food or tutor kids in temporary housing. But that's not possible this year, said operations director Amanda Green.

Going Retro For This Week's Kalamazoo Facebook Marketplace Marvel
One of the best things about Facebook, especially during a pandemic, is that you have the ability to basically go garage sale-ing without actually having to go in person. I find most of the stuff listed on the Facebook Marketplace to actually be handy or valuable for most people. If you ever need anything for your house or yard, there usually seems to be something of good quality for a good price listed on it. If you follow it daily you can actually find some sweet deals before they get sold.
B2B Industrial Marketplace Launches Mobile App for Sellers
BUFFALO, N.Y. , Jan. 18, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Aucto, an online B2B marketplace for industrial assets, has released a mobile application that makes it easier for corporations to sell assets no longer needed for operations. The app integrates directly with the Aucto platform, automating the process of capturing and uploading data needed to sell an item on the marketplace.
The app works together with the Virtual Warehouse module on the Aucto platform. The Virtual Warehouse provides asset managers the ability to view and manage surplus assets across the organization. Using the Virtual Warehouse, assets can be designated for sale on the Aucto marketplace or redeployed within the organization.
