The Democratic Party's House campaign arm wasted no time targeting Republicans who opposed impeaching President Trump for his role in inciting the siege of the Capitol.
"After promoting the very same conspiracy theories that incited this mob, the vast majority of House Republicans caved to President Trump," he said.
Because major social media platforms are not currently accepting political ads, the DCCC spots are being run on various websites, such as news and sports outlets. The Oklahoma Secretary of Commerce and Workforce Development, Sean Kouplen, said the state bought television ads, digital ads, and social media ads in Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Missouri. They will run to the end of the year.
"We felt like it was just a great opportunity for our state to just try to bring people in and revive our travel and entertainment business," Kouplen said. "We just feel so sorry for hoteliers and restaurant owners who, they just don't have the business that they had previously and we were just trying to help them."
