Council Post: 13 Best Ways To Delight And Surprise Your Customers

Satisfied customers are loyal, but appreciated customers are even more so. The best way to make a customer or prospect feel appreciated is to do something that delights them. Most people tend to enjoy surprises, just so long as they benefit from them. By pleasing an existing or potential customer, you encourage them to enjoy the company's work. It's an incentive for them to come back to the business if they have any other work in the industry to get done.

Zoom Will Let Paid Customers Control Where Their Calls Are Routed

Zoom  will soon let paid customers choose the data center through which their calls are routed. Beginning April 18, clients can opt in or out of a specific region, customizing the servers used to connect to hosted meetings.

The move comes after an April 3  report  from the University of Toronto's Citizen Lab found that Zoom was transmitting encryption keys through China. Researchers  revealed  that "during multiple test calls in North America, we observed keys for encrypting and decrypting [Zoom] meetings transmitted to servers in Beijing." The app, they said, uses "non-industry-standard cryptographic techniques with identifiable weaknesses."

Covid-19: Boeing customers cancel staggering number of 737 Max orders

The Chicago-based manufacturer on Tuesday posted 150 cancellations of its beleaguered 737 Max jets in March, the most in decades, the company said. Brazilian airline Gol canceled 34 of the narrow-body planes and leasing firm Avolon scrapped orders for 75 of them, a move it announced earlier this month. Net cancellations in the month totaled 119 thanks to 31 orders for wide-body passenger planes and military aircraft.

That brought net orders Boeing removed from its order list in first three months of the year to 307 planes, a sharp turnaround for a company that just over a year ago was aiming to increase output of its planes to meet strong demand.
