How you can earn (and give) $30 for online shopping

This is probably the easiest $30 you can earn. All you have to do is refer a friend , and then the friend has to spend $30 within the offer period (April 20 – May 1) and you both get $30. Simple as that.

Typically, Rakuten offers $25 for each referral and referee with no limit to how much you can earn, so long as both parties meet the spending requirements.

While you're here, how about this:

Budget Vogue: Thrift shopping without leaving home | Budget Vogue | unionleader.com

As I talk with you Budget Vogue fashionistas and fashionistos out there in Covidland, I am realizing that as we have withdrawn from social contact, many of you are experiencing withdrawals from thrift shopping as well.

#1: Go through all of your old purses, suitcases and tote bags. You will undoubtedly find treasures you thought lost: lipsticks, receipts, jewelry thought long gone.

My sister just located some silver earrings she'd totally forgotten about. I am collecting all of the lipsticks I have kept in my old pocketbooks. And who will look fresh and glamorous on her next Zoom meeting? Well, of course, that would be me.

eBay Launches Michael Jordan Shopping Event - InsideHook

If you’ve been looking for a time to revisit Michael Jordan’s legacy in basketball, right about now is a great time for it. The ESPN documentary The Last Dance offers a comprehensive look at Jordan’s final championship with the Chicago Bulls — but it’s not the only place that Jordan fans can turn to explore his impact on sports and popular culture as a whole.

On Friday, online shopping site eBay launched a dedicated hub for all things Jordan-related . As befits someone whose influence can be seen everywhere from basketball courts to streetwear sites, this hub covers a lot of territory in terms of what’s offered. If you’d like to pick up a pair of sneakers, a Jordan-themed Funko Pop and a a #23 1996 NBA All-Star jersey all in one place — well, look no further. Autographed and authenticated jerseys are also in the mix.

Sheetz designates a specific shopping time for those at high risk for COVID-19; it starts Sunday

Sheetz is the latest business to designate a shopping hour for those at high risk of contracting COVID-19.

Starting Sunday, the gas station chain is setting aside 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on every Sunday for the foreseeable future for those who fall into that category at all 279 of its locations.

While IDs will not be checked for age compliance and a doctor's note isn't needed, a news release asked other customers to respect the window.

The new online tool allows you to search for slots in a similar way you would shop on a comparison website.

The free site asks you to enter your postcode and then it offers you various options for slots currently available in your areas.

Shopping? Mask on! New norm at the grocery store | WBEN 930am

And while stopping short of saying they will deny entrance to shoppers without face-coverings during this coronavirus outbreak, local supermarket chains are issuing strong guidelines and urging customers to follow the new Executive Order issued by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo requiring face-coverings in public places when social distancing can't be accomplished.

"Tops intends to comply with the mandate set forth by the Governor and we're awaiting for further guidance from the State. We certainly hope that customers honor the spirit of the executive order and should be wearing a mask when they can't socially distance in our stores. If there is a situation where a customer does not have a mask we will politely remind them of the Governors mandate to wear one where they cannot maintain social distancing."
