Since 1979, the couple has done just that through Gold Key Travel in Longmont. As business owners and travel managers, they have accompanied many trips through their agency. Sometimes daily work duties included hang-gliding in South America and bungee jumping in New Zealand. While the adventures for the couple won’t stop anytime soon, they decided earlier this year that it was time for a change.
Friday marked the last day that the travel agency will operate out of its longtime storefront at 328 Coffman St. The business, however, will continue to operate remotely as Karen and Don Wood finish up scheduled travel groups, planned through 2022. Once the remaining tours wrap up, they hope to retire.

‘Bob’s Burgers’ Pop-Up Comes To Replay Lincoln Park For ‘Grand
LINCOLN PARK — Fans of “Bob’s Burgers” can visit the Belcher family’s Ocean Avenue storefront at Replay Lincoln Park’s latest pop-up.
The “Grand Re-Re-Opening” of the arcade bar — which was shut down a second time in June when the city rolled back its coronavirus reopening plan — pays tribute to the adult animated sitcom by transforming its new outdoor patio into the Bob’s Burgers storefront.
"It's a callback to [the opening sequence] where the Belchers have a re-re-re-opening after having to close three times," said Replay owner Mark Kwiatowski. “Each time, they add another ‘re-‘ to their grand opening banner outside.”

Ghost Storefront Revealed in NYC's Upper East Side - Untapped New York
A 19th-century storefront has been revealed on Lexington Avenue and East 73rd Street in the Upper East Side Historic District . Photographer Ryan Lahiff spotted the antique signage and ornamentation which had previously been covered up by white paint and scaffolding. With the scaffolding gone and the paint stripped away, those who walk by can see into the past of this historic building.
The storefront was previously occupied by Le Terraine, a store that sold kitchenware. That store has since closed and the awnings which used to hang over the storefront have been removed. The removal of the awnings revealed a splendidly ornate first story cornice that runs nearly the entire length of the Lexington Ave. facade. On the edge of the building, on the East 73rd Street Side, there is a small piece of ornamentation that hangs down with scrolls and acanthus leaves.

Through a grant from the Knight Foundation, SJDA hired Progressive Urban Management Associates , a Denver-based consulting firm that specializes in downtown rejuvenation plans nationwide, to examine the effects of the pandemic on downtown and develop an organized response to help businesses in the area bounce back, and attract new tenants to fill vacant space.
