Reinventing The Customer Experience: Lessons From Jio

Another innovation necessitated by Covid-19 was the approach to marketing cloud services to small business customers. Traditionally, Jio salespeople would visit small business customers in person, explaining the value of connectivity and cloud services and signing up customers. Jio's marketing and sales team pivoted to digital marketing, creating a series of webinars targeted at small business owners.

Jio's push towards creating a zero-touch customer experience was spurred on by the pandemic. But it would not have been possible without the investments and foresight that had gone into designing the infrastructure to support the customer experience.

LADWP urges customers to conserve power after outages during state’s worst heat wave in

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power urged its 1.4 million customers to cut back on their electricity use during peak hours from 3 p.m to 10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

The utility made the request after nearly 4,000 of its customers across the San Fernando Valley lost service Friday, when California’s worst heat wave in years began.

The outages were not part of rolling blackouts prompted by statewide power shortages, according to LADWP. However, utility officials believe the heat overburdened local networks.
