Arnold’s Meats asks customers to aid in ‘Restaurant Rescue’; promotion touts wholesale customers

8/20/2020 -Chicopee- Larry Katz is the President of Arnold's Meats, the 2021 Reader Raves winner of "Best Butcher." (Don Treeger / The Republican)

Starting this week, and probably for all of 2021, Arnold's is selling gift certificates from its restaurant customers at its markets on Grattan Street in Chicopee and Shaker Road in East Longmeadow.

Customers who buy a gift certificate — $50 for high-end places and probably less for cheaper eateries — will get 10% off their Arnold's purchase on that shopping trip.

What customers need to know about Loves Furniture's bankruptcy filing

It depends. If you're a customer who has paid and haven't received furniture yet, you should call your bank or credit card company immediately.

The Better Business Bureau said the situation is problematic for those who received their furniture, but may have a warranty. If that group includes you, don't expect that warranty to mean much.

Loves Furniture put blame on the COVID pandemic and the slow down of shipments from overseas. While that may be true, the new revelations of major financial problems won't help the situation for many.

However, much like customers, search engines are fickle. They use a number of factors to determine how to rank sites for certain terms. And what one user sees may not be the same set of results another does, depending on their individual search histories.
