Integrating Technology Into Customer Service: The Secret Is Keeping It Below Eye Level

Some companies have succeeded for decades by being traditionalists when it comes to customer service (which is my consulting wheelhouse). These are companies that have thrived over the years by keeping their approach to customer service simple: They hire good people, train them well, and inspire them continually.

Lyft Now Available to all Consumer Cellular Customers, Including Those with Flip Phones

With CC Go, customers can request a ride for themselves or their loved ones and receive the same conveniences of a ride sharing service that are enjoyed by the millions of users with a Lyft app. The CC Go ride is also trackable, allowing a designated family member to be alerted when a ride is booked. They can then follow the ride route digitally until the loved one is dropped off at their final destination.

"Consumer Cellular is committed to helping seniors stay connected," said John Marick, Consumer Cellular CEO. "For the last 24 years, we've been accomplishing this goal through our affordable cellular service. Today, we are taking our commitment one step further by giving our customers easier access to Lyft. Most of us use the app on our smartphones, but for our over 1.3 million customers who are not on smartphones, that technology has been out of reach.
