WASHINGTON – Rep. Anthony Brindisi will begin airing the first TV ads of his re-election campaign on Wednesday, even before he knows who his opponent will be in November.
The early ad campaign is the latest sign that the 22nd Congressional District will once again be one of the most competitive House races in the nation this year.

Planters Pauses Super Bowl Campaign; How to Land Celebrities in an Ad: Tuesday’s First
One of the more fascinating stories we’ve produced about the Super Bowl is about the process agencies and brands go through to land a celebrity for the Super Bowl. This story pulls back the curtain on how The Marketing Arm, and Omnicom agency, helped secure 26 celebrities in 13 ads over the past two Super Bowls, including David Harbour in Tide’s iconic “It’s a Tide Ad” campaign.

We’ve run previous stories about how AI isn’t coming for copywriting jobs yet , but our Super Bowl pitch bot has proven AI has a long ways to go before taking the jobs of humans. While the bot has produced hilarious pitches, it tends to go down a dark, insane path featuring apocalyptic scenarios (and an oddly high amount of robot uprising pitches). That said, AI is catching marketers’ attentions because of its potential.
Bloomberg campaign says it is 'gaining ground' on Trump's digital operation
While Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Vice President Joe Biden may be grabbing headlines before the Iowa caucuses next Monday, no 2020 candidate is spending more on the digital ad war than President Donald Trump and Democratic contender Mike Bloomberg.
The importance of the digital-ad wars in shaping the national voting map is coming into sharper focus as Bloomberg looks past the first four states holding Democratic votes next month – Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada – to instead aim for a strong showing on Super Tuesday and the general election against Trump.

Alaska Wilderness League Action is spending $150,000 on ads that will start running on Monday and highlight the vulnerable Republican's record on drilling.

It will run in the Denver media market as well as the OTT video-on-demand platform and in digital advertising statewide.

New campaign ad goes after Sanders by mentioning heart attack | TheHill
"I like Bernie, I think he has great ideas, but in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Iowa, they're just not going to vote for a socialist," a male voter says in the ad, according to the Times. "I just don't think Bernie can beat Trump."
"I do have some concerns about Bernie Sanders's health considering the fact that he did have a heart attack," the person says, according to the newspaper.
PAC president Mark Mellman told the publication that the goal of the ad is to highlight concerns that some Democratic voters have about Sanders's electability, asserting the senator was in a "uniquely bad position" to defeat Trump.
McDonald's new ad campaign emphasizes Quarter Pounder ingredients
McDonald’s aired new commercials during the Grammys emphasizing ingredients in one of its menu mainstays, the Quarter Pounder with Cheese.
The spots showcase the beef, cheese, onions, pickles and buns of the Quarter Pounder, as well as the chain’s fries. While close-ups of burgers are nothing new in fast-food advertising, these spots suggest McDonald's is using a fresh take on the tried-and-true method. Along with Instagram-worthy close-ups, the quick commercials feature voiceover work by Brian Cox, known to many as Logan Roy on HBO’s “Succession.
