Ill. (KWQC) - ComEd, an energy company in Illinois, is warning customers about an energy scam that relates to COVID-19.
Officials are asking their customers to "be on alert for potential scams targeting individuals and small-business owners."
Imposters are posing as employees with ComEd and are taking advantage of the "uncertainty brought on by this health crisis to approach individuals and steal their personal information and money," officials said.

ABINGTON, Virginia (WDEF) – Food City President and CEO Steve Smith gave an udpate Monday on how Food City is going to continue to adapt to CDC guidelines for its customers and its employees.
The store will now be encouraging all employees to wear masks because of the CDC’s recent recommendation, and hopes to be able to supply them by next week.
Food City will not be limiting the number of people in its stores like other grocery stores are doing, but trusts customers to remain distanced at 6 feet apart.

Every chain has adopted slightly different rules. Walmart is allowing no more than five people per 1,000 square feet, roughly 20% of each store's capacity. Target is varying capacities based on the square footage of each location.
Giant Food to significantly limit customers in stores | WTOP
Giant Food will now limit the number of customers allowed to shop inside its stores, starting Thursday.
Though Giant did not put an exact number on how many customers will be allowed in at any given time, the company said it will reduce store capacity to just 20%.
Store employees will monitor the number of customers entering. Giant asks customers to shop with as few family members as possible.
