On Friday, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey analysts led by Youssef Squali raised their price target on shares of Amazon to a street-high of $3,400. The move comes after a proprietary ecommerce survey which revealed several reasons to stay positive on the stock, including a permanent shift to ecommerce and the fact that Amazon's new customers will stick with the platform. Diageo bets on ecommerce in Brazil to make up for closed bars and restaurants
SAO PAULO, June 26 (Reuters) - Diageo Plc, the world's largest spirits maker, has doubled efforts to strengthen its presence in e-commerce channels in Brazil as the coronavirus pandemic triggered lockdowns, driving customers to drink at home, a company executive said on Friday.
"Consumption at home has increased significantly over the past three months, but does not fully compensate revenue lost with the closure of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and events," Diageo's managing director for Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay, Gregorio Gutierrez, told Reuters in an interview.

Amazon continues to far outdistance all other U.S. retailers in e-commerce sales, but Walmart and other large retailers are showing increased strength as they pivot online.
For the first time, Walmart will surpass eBay as the No. 2 e-commerce retailer in the U.S., according to a report by eMarketer that ranks retailers by percentage of total online sales.
The top-growing ecommerce categories will be food and beverage at 58.5% and health/personal care/beauty at 32.4%, as Americans turn to online ordering for household essentials. Apparel and accessories, the second-largest e-commerce category in overall sales, will grow just 8.6% as consumers shift spending from more discretionary, nonessential categories.

Amid a quarter in which a large percentage of its stores were temporarily shuttered during the pandemic, H&M Group saw its net sales fall by 50 percent. The retailer's eCommerce sales, however, jumped by 36 percent in SEK and 32 percent in local currencies, according to an announcement .
Sales during the timeframe of June 1-24 of this year dropped by 25 percent in local currencies compared to the same timeframe in the past year. As it stands, 350 retail locations, which comprise 7 percent of overall shops, remain shuttered.
