A coalition of environmental groups backed by Democratic governors is launching a $10 million-plus ad campaign pressuring the Biden administration and Congress to spend trillions on climate change and clean energy as Washington gears up for its next fight over President Joe Biden's infrastructure and jobs plan.
Dubbed "The Great American Build," the campaign aims to set an aggressive starting point for negotiations over the size and scope of the infrastructure package, which is coming into focus as Biden's next major push after last week's passage of the $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief package.

The Democratic National Committee launched a major ad campaign across battleground states to promote President Biden's American Rescue Plan and to hold Republicans accountable for standing in the way of needed relief efforts. The campaign includes a 60-second TV ad called "Help is Here" and billboards calling out Republicans in Congress who opposed checks of up to $1,40o for Americans and funds to massively ramp up vaccinations across the country.

Former health care executive: Koch network promoting 'fear-mongering' ad campaign against public
In an interview on Hill.TV's "Rising," Potter commented on a new ad being touted by Koch-backed Americans for Prosperity that characterizes a public option as not being in Americans' best interest, and promotes an alternative "personal option" favorable to private health insurance groups.
Potter, who now serves as president of the Center for Health and Democracy, explained that the messaging in the ad mirrors tactics historically used by private health insurance lobbying groups.
