Locally Owned Skin, Hair Care Line BRAVE Essentials Opens Storefront in Florissant | Style |

Necessity, it has been said, is the mother of invention. That rings true for Monique Fulks, owner and CEO of BRAVE Essentials, whose skin care brand began with caring for her own child's sensitive skin.

"Everything I used on him would break him out," she says of the store-bought products she once used. "You want your baby to feel soft; you want your baby to smell good. All of the stuff I was using on him was not good for his skin."

Inspired by a friend who made her own body butter, Fulks took to her kitchen and whipped up products her family could rely on to meet their skin care needs. Through word-of-mouth, others soon came to value her products as much as her family did.

The yellow brick road is passing through Clintonville, Ohio, bringing homemade pizza made popular through Instagram and enjoyed by the likes of Urban Meyer and Nina West.

The Wizard of Za, located at 4214 N. High St., offers Columbus residents the taste of authentic Sicilian-style pizza. In March 2020, Spencer Saylor, owner of the shop, made pizzas out of his own home oven and sold them to his close friends and family through what he called his "underground pizzeria."

"Storefront Records": An Essay by Xavier Dphrepaulezz (Fantastic Negrito) - Atwood

This Black History Month, Atwood Magazine has invited artists to participate in a series of essays, interviews, reviews, poetry, playlists, and more features in recognition of, and out of respect for the symbolism and significance of this month.

Storefront Records is the antithesis of the major label record industry machine. I think in particular there is so much talent in Oakland, CA and the Bay Area. I believe it is a fertile ground for a movement. There is so much going on in the world today and so many interesting and different topics that I hope artists are ready to express.

Now that Xbox owns Zenimax, what does that mean for the Bethesda storefront?

Well, now that the shock of hearing that Microsoft has acquired (or soon will) Zenimax, the parent company of Bethesda , I still have a bunch of important questions. But let’s start with one of a PC-centric question first; What does this mean for PC gaming? More specifically, where does this leave the Bethesda PC launcher?

As you already know, Bethesda had started its own PC launcher sometime ago and originally had planned to release all of their PC games onto that launcher and storefront. Which meant they had stopped releasing their PC titles via Steam and opted for their own service. Of course, the best-laid plans of mice and men don’t always turn out the way everyone wants them to, and it wasn’t that long ago Bethesda started releasing games onto Steam again .
