Marketplace, Bulls 5K, St. Paddy’s Day & More… - Osprey Observer

Carrie and Joe Perkins, owners of the Cottonseed Marketplace, invite you to tour their renovated 1973, 23 ft. Airstream RV, nicknamed Arrow, which showcases their wooden and leather, laser-engraved gifts and home decor. The Cottonseed Marketplace is a homegrown and handmade local small business based in Valrico that began in 2015 by selling items on Etsy.

The grand opening will take place at the Bullfrog Creek Brewing Company's Sunday Market on March 21 from 12 Noon until 4 p.m. The celebration will also include raffle prizes from local small businesses, giveaways and complimentary beer.

After a year of silence, the Wynwood Marketplace recently conducted its grand re-opening. SWARM, Miami's leading event agency has been hard at work rebuilding and enhancing the 55,000-square-foot mecca in the heart of Wynwood.

The Wynwood Marketplace, known for its art and crafts market, expansive food selection, curated specialty cocktails, world-renowned musical guest appearances and culturally driven activations jubilantly reopen its doors on Thursday, Mar. 4.

People report crypto art stolen on NFT marketplace

Multiple people on Twitter reported that their accounts on Nifty Gateway had been compromised, leading to the loss of their crypto art and to unauthorized purchases using their credit cards.

A Nifty Gateway representative declined to say how much art had been reported stolen but told Insider that a "small group of users" had been affected.

Miraflor said that he had been in contact with the Nifty Gateway cofounder Griffin Cock Foster but that he had been told that Nifty Gateway could not transfer the digital tokens back to him after they were resold.

Allen Park couple carjacked at gunpoint during Facebook Marketplace sale

The buyer of a Jeep Liberty in Allen Park turned into a suspect who took it for a test drive, came back - handed over the money but was $100 short. Then out of nowhere, a gun was pulled.

ALLEN PARK, Mich. - Police are searching for two people after an Allen Park couple was carjacked at gunpoint Sunday by someone meeting them to buy a car they were selling on Facebook Marketplace.

Civic tech website Marketplace.city raises additional $1M | StateScoop

Marketplace.city, a company that helps city governments find and procure technology solutions, announced last week that the four-year-old operation raised $1 million in new investments.

The latest funding round was led by Network Ventures, a Chicago venture capital fund, and the Colorado-based Principio Capital, Marketplace.city said.

Marketplace.city, which claims more than 200 customers worldwide, said in a press release it plans to use the new money to expand the number of city governments that use it to source their IT purchases and further develop a new in-house search tool for government procurements, known as Clearbox.

Home repair demand helps grow a Las Vegas microbusiness - Marketplace

Although it was tough at the beginning, Hess’ business has picked up. He believes people are becoming more comfortable having workers in their house. Also, tourism in Las Vegas is slowing coming back.

"I'm not in [the tourism] business, but many of my customers are," Hess said. "So, in a sense, I still rely on it."

Now Hess is trying to decide whether to hire more employees to keep up with the demand or maintain the number of workers he has now.
