DES MOINES — One of the leading Democratic super PACs, Priorities USA, will spend $50 million more than previously announced against President Trump before the Democratic National Convention, with plans to make nearly $30 million in TV ad reservations in the coming days.
The super PAC, which had announced a $100 million campaign in early 2019, has increased its preconvention budget to $150 million, according to Guy Cecil, the committee's chairman. "Donors are stepping up earlier than they have before," he said.

Elizabeth Warren's campaign is up Monday with its first television ad of the presidential campaign in New Hampshire – a 30-second spot that focuses on her key themes of fighting corruption and delivering "a democracy that works for everyone."

George Conway, a vocal Trump critic, launched the Lincoln Project in December alongside other conservative opponents of the president. The group says its overall goal is to prevent Trump's reelection.

Mike Bloomberg spent more than $825,000 on Facebook ads on Saturday, well more than any other 2020 presidential candidate spent in a single day on the social media platform, according to data from Facebook.
The Bloomberg total also dwarfs what several top-tier candidates have spent on Facebook ads over the course of several days.
Former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg spent about $652,000 on Facebook ads in 30 days. In the same time frame, former Vice President Joe Biden spent a little more than $385,000 on Facebook ads.

The commander in chief sent out a series of tweets Monday morning calling the billionaire former mayor’s commercials “False Advertising” and disputing his claims about his administration’s healthcare policies.
“Mini Mike Bloomberg is spending a lot of money on False Advertising. I was the person who saved Pre-Existing Conditions in your Healthcare, you have it now, while at the same time winning the fight to rid you of the expensive, unfair and very unpopular Individual Mandate,” Trump tweeted .
