90,000 Alabama Power customers remain without service
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Thousands of Alabama Power customers in central Alabama were without service after Sunday night's storms.
Michael Jordan with Alabama Power said as of 10 a.m. there were approximately 90,000 customers without service statewide. In central Alabama, approximately 23,100 customers were without service.
"Outages are widespread at this time in central Alabama and damage assessments and power restoration efforts are occurring in those areas where it is safe to do so," Jordan said.

Amazon stops accepting new online grocery customers amid surging demand
Amazon will begin to put new grocery delivery customers on a wait list and curtail shopping hours at some Whole Foods stores to prioritize orders from existing customers buying food online during the coronavirus outbreak, the company said on Sunday.
Many shoppers recently seeking to purchase groceries from the Seattle-based e-commerce company found they could not place orders due to a lack of available delivery slots. Amazon said it would have to relegate all new online grocery customers to a wait list starting Monday while working on adding capacity each week.

In the past few weeks and into the rest of the month, companies are moving employees to WFH, revenue is going to zero or at least much degraded, and budgets are suffocating companies who are dealing with the change in the economy.

UNDATED — Over 1,000 PPL customers across the Valley are still without electric power after strong storms and downpours came through the Valley early Monday morning.
According to PPL’s outage map, Northumberland County has 245 outages, Snyder has 147 outages, 61 in Montour, and a handful of customers are without power in Union. Over 800 outages are reported in Columbia County.
Over 3,500 Horry Electric Cooperative customers without power | WBTW
HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – Horry Electric Cooperative is reporting over 3,500 customers without power Monday morning.
According to HEC’s outage map , 3,521 customers are without power as of about 8:38 a.m. Monday.
About 1,000 customers are without power in the Toddville area in the western part of Horry County.

Cannabis retailers, declared essential amid the pandemic, may be among the few businesses in The City that have managed to maintain relatively stable sales.
Though a few stores reported steep declines, most of the dozen or so shops The Examiner contacted this week said that business has remained steady, and in some cases they have even had increased sales.
Though foot traffic is down, dispensaries said customers on average are spending more and utilizing delivery or online order options.
