Illinois driver facilities reopen Tuesday, but customers can renew online, too | OurQuadCities

Face masks are required, and social distancing and other safety measures will remain in place, a news release says.

* * *

Many transactions can be conducted online at www.cyberdriveillinois.com instead of visiting a facility in-person. Services include:

Customers with issues involving administrative hearings may contact adminhearings@ilsos.gov. To reduce facility visits for in-person service, online renewals for driver's licenses and identification cards have been expanded. Not everyone qualifies, particularly those who are required to pass a written or road test. For qualifying drivers, individuals will receive a letter with a unique PIN about 90 days before the expiration date. The PIN is required to renew online.

Many things are taking place:

How Australian retailers are reimagining customer experience - Dynamic Business

The customer is always right is an adage that has been driving the way we do business for years. While the concept of customer experience (CX) has evolved, business processes have not.

Today, the smartest organisations are creating competitive advantage by placing customer wants first and managing their customer experience from start to finish. In the retail world, the crux of a consumer's shopping experience occurs at the "checkout".

Collecting payments is critical to the customer experience for one reason. It is the time when the customer evaluates your value proposition and make the buying decision. The rise of digital payments and the convergence of modern technologies with the physical shopping experience means retailers must innovate to compete with online rivals and win customer loyalty.

Nail salon owner attacked while stopping customer refusing to pay | wusa9.com

WASHINGTON — A D.C. nail salon owner fought back after she said a customer refused to pay and tried to leave. The salon's security cameras caught the entire exchange.

It was Tuesday afternoon when co-owner and manager Ryan Kim, said two customers walked into Blue Bell Nail Salon at 700 O Street in Northwest. He said they requested multiple services that added up to $208.

When his mom, the co-owner, asked for payment, he said their credit cards were declined multiple times. Kim said they asked the customers for alternate payment, and they said they would go to a nearby bank and return with cash. One woman left.
