Twitter tests new e-commerce features for tweets – TechCrunch

The experiment was spotted by social media consultant Matt Navarra who tweeted out screenshots of the new experience. The original poster, based in Qatar, had seen the experiment on an Android device, he tells TechCrunch.

– Product name
– Shop name
– Product price
– 'Shop' button


While these tweets would work well as ads, Twitter confirmed to us the tweet is an example of a new treatment for “organic” tweets focused on e-commerce.

Online market places lead the ecommerce surge: report - Which-50

Online market places are outperforming the general e-commerce sector, according to a new vendor study.

The findings are contained in a report from enterprise marketplace SaaS platform Mirakl called the 2021 Enterprise Marketplace Index , which claims its report offers the largest and most comprehensive analysis of third-party marketplace data in the industry.

Mirakl’s index suggests that marketplaces grew by more than 80 percent year-over-year in the fourth quarter of 2020, more than double the rate of overall eCommerce growth.
