Cape Ann TV rebrands as 1623 Studios, moves to Pleasant Street storefront - News - Wicked Local

The benefits of moving to a new location in downtown Gloucester are already evident for those involved with 1623 Studios.

Previously known as Cape Ann TV, the former local cable access channel rebranded as 1623 Studios in early 2018 to account for how rapidly modern media and its consumption has changed in recent years.

As the creation and distribution of that media has become more accessible for everyone in recent years, it made sense that the non-profit organization that helps support and provide it locally also become more accessible, creating a catalyst for the move from Blackburn Center to a new Pleasant Street address.
