Baltimore Fire unable to find cause of Edmondson Village Shopping Center blaze, councilman says -

The Baltimore Fire Department was unable to determine the cause of the November fire that tore through the Edmondson Village Shopping Center in West Baltimore, officials said.

The Fire Department's inability to find the fire's cause was "likely due to the severe nature of the fire and the length of time it was burning," wrote Baltimore City Councilman Kristerfer Burnett in an update he posted to Instagram late Monday afternoon.

The three-alarm blaze blew out store windows, ripped off much of the roof and took firefighters 10 hours to bring under control.

A New York City-based creative agency hired by BJ's Wholesale Club hoped for something grand to promote the warehouse retailer's new stores near Detroit.

"We wanted to make a big splash," said Adam Davis, a media planner with Noble People, the agency that worked with BJ's.

Without knowing whether such a thing existed, Davis and his colleagues brainstormed the idea of driving a huge shopping cart in the Woodward Dream Cruise, the classic car show in Detroit that drew about 1.5 million people and 40,000 vehicles in August.

Crime Stoppers: Tyler County burglary suspects rummaged through house 'as if shopping'

TYLER COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Deep East Texas Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help in identifying a man and a woman who broke into a home in a rural part of Tyler County back in November of 2019 and rummaged through it as if they were on a shopping trip.

According to the bulletin, the burglars could have easily cleaned the home out because its owners were out of town when the suspects committed the crime. However, for some reason, the man and woman didn't finish the job.
