MILFORD — In the wake of the Dec. 26 brawl that shut down the shopping center, the Connecticut Post Mall continues to require that visitors under 18 be supervised by an adult.
Juveniles must also carry identification, the mall announced. Acceptable forms of identification include U.S. driver’s licenses, state-issued IDs, passports, resident alien cards, U.S. Military IDs, Mexican Consulate IDs, and Canadian IDs, according to the website, which adds that student IDs are not accepted.

Firefighters rushed to the Willowdale Town Center on Unionville Road in East Marlborough Township, just before 2:30 a.m. Friday.

When crews arrived, they found flames shooting through the roof of one of the businesses. Soon after, crews struck a second alarm to get more manpower to the scene. It took about 100 firefighters to get the flames under control.

Residents sue Santa Barbara County over Orcutt shopping center plans - KEYT | KCOY
ORCUTT, Calif. - A group of residents is suing Santa Barbara County in order to get them to do more environmental research before moving forward with the development of the Orcutt Gateway Retail Commercial Center.
The residents, who call themselves "Residents for Orcutt Sensible Growth," claim that the county did not do enough environmental analysis when they submitted their Final Environmental Impact Report for this project on July 22, 1997.
The group is requesting that approvals for the project be set aside until the county performs a reasonable review of the environmental impact of the project.

Amherst Shopping Center plaza sold for $18.5 million
AMHERST — A shopping plaza anchored by a Big Y Supermarket, CVS Pharmacy and Dunkin' has been acquired by a Waltham-based real-estate development, investment and management company for nearly $18.5 million.
Amherst Shopping Center, located between 165 and 183 University Drive, was recently purchased by Crosspoint Associates, Inc. from Amherst Shopping Center Associates/ Quest Development of Lynnfield.
The 11-acre site, near the corner of Route 9/ Northampton Road, features a shopping center with the Big Y, as well as stand-alone CVS Pharmacy and Dunkin' buildings and a Bank of America ATM. Joining Big Y in the main plaza building are a Goodwill store, Omi Omy Vietnamese restaurant, Supercuts and V.I.P Nails. Most of the plaza is in Amherst, though Big Y is also in Hadley.
