Jones lost in the general election to incumbent Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-Ill.).

Facebook removes Trump campaign ads it said were misleading about Census - The Washington Post

Spokesman Andy Stone said, "There are policies in place to prevent confusion around the official U.S. census, and this is an example of those being enforced."

Asked about Facebook's turnaround in its ruling about the Trump census ads, Stone said, "We conducted a further review."

Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh declined to comment about the ads or Facebook's decision. The ads were paid for by the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, which raises money for the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee in support of the president's reelection.

New York sports betting gets push from TV ad campaign

Mobile sports betting is getting a huge push right now. Although it’s not legal in the Empire State yet, a television ad campaign from Bet On NY is launching a series of advertisements to promote New York sports betting .

According to Nick Reisman of NY State of Politics, this ad is set to air in the Albany market. Calls for the legalization of sports betting in New York are growing louder and louder.

The ad makes a concerted effort to point out that New Jersey offers many New Yorkers an easy opportunity to bet on sports legally. It doesn’t make sense for New York to let the potential revenue leave the state.
