The New Black Wall Street Market, which officially opens in Stonecrest in September, is a unique marketplace similar to Ponce City Market, with shops, restaurants and entertainment. The planned venue will focus on helping minority and women-owned businesses.
"The purpose of the market is to cultivate relationships with business owners in the Atlanta area, provide entrepreneurial training to enhance skills, offer a community for small businesses, and assist with the transition of online stores to brick-and-mortar," officials said.

“It was actually a great restaurant,” Barillas said. “It was a very close group of people working together.”

Delray Marketplace renovating movie theatre, adding restaurant
The enhancements include a multi-million-dollar renovation of the movie-theater complex and a new restaurant offering Asian cuisine at the shuttered Aperio restaurant.
Improvements to the movie theater complex will be undertaken by Florida-based Paragon Theaters, the company that acquired Franks Theatres after it filed for bankruptcy in 2019. Paragon announced renovation plans in March 2020 but they were put on hold after the pandemic struck. With the economy recovering, Paragon says it is committed to bringing "a one-of-a-kind theater" to the area.
