Consumers expect it to be easy to do business online. Too often this is not the case, because companies have blind spots related to customer experiences, specifically where and with what customers struggle.
For years, analytics have been valuable tools to understanding what's happening in the customer experience, but those tools often require significant effort to apply the learnings to a business process. The good news is the landscape is changing and companies no longer have to guess where and how to help their customers.
Complaints soar as customers fight airlines for refunds from pandemic cancellations - OPB
Complaints about airlines refusing to pay refunds for canceled flights during the pandemic soared more than 5,500% over the last year. Some customers are still trying to fight airlines for refunds, while others, who got credit or vouchers for future travel instead, are finding that those credits may soon expire.
And that's outraging some consumers who as taxpayers came to the rescue of their airlines as they lost billions during the pandemic.

How to Keep Loyal Customers (and Annoyed Customers) Coming Back for More
Clients that continue to make purchases, support special offers, are comfortable trying new products and willing to share their experiences ensures your business remains profitable.
On the other hand, a customer that’s not willing to make additional purchases, nor offer referals, can create disproportion in revenue goals. In other words, retaining your loyal followers can save on advertising costs.
This method of extracting their specific needs is called “data collection”. This information can be used to create offers, products and additional services while letting you know what works. The issue is most companies won’t stop to gather the data and, if they have, didn’t use a monitored method for collection thereby tainting their results.
