Sara Vakhshouri, president at SVB Energy International, thinks Iran's reprisals will begin in Iraq.
"The first [location] would be Iraq because Iran does not want to enter into a direct war with the rest of the world," Vakhshouri said.
Iraq has oil fields and facilities run by American companies, and like the U.S. Embassy, they appear to be taking precautions with their employees.
"We have heard through our network that yes, some of the U.S. companies have already started calling their staff out," Vakhshouri added.
Quite a lot has been going on:

Woman lists 'manatee-shaped' chicken tender on Facebook Marketplace for $5,000 | FOX 7 Austin

TAMPA, Fla. - A Harambe-shaped Cheeto and a banana duct-taped to a wall were just some of the avant garde pieces to go to auction for imaginative buyers in the recent past. Not to be outdone, 2020’s addition to any eccentric collection hit the marketplace this week: A “manatee-shaped” chicken tender for a cool $5,000.
Listed by Melinda Disbrow in Tampa Bay, Florida, on Facebook Marketplace under the “Antiques & Collectibles” category, the chicken tender was described as being in “new” condition.

Participate In The 2020 IBM i Marketplace Survey Webcast - IT Jungle
Every fall for the past six years, HelpSystems puts out the call for the IBM i community to participate in its annual survey of the base so we can find out what is going on out there in your shops. And then as the new year just gets going, the company hosts a webinar that goes over the results of the survey with commentary from a bunch of people.
Tom Huntington, the executive vice president of technical solutions at HelpSystems, will host the webinar, and I plan to attend as do two familiar IBMers — Alison Butterill, IBM i product offering manager, and Ian Jarman, who had that job before and is now an executive in the IBM Lab Services division. This time around, Brandon Pederson, who is worldwide IBM i product marketing manager and who we talked to late last year as he took on that expanded role, will also be joining the panel.
BBVA is trialing making sales on Amazon - Business Insider - Business Insider
The release also noted that BBVA's "intention is to move into offering banking products on the platform," though it acknowledges the idea is still being explored and that Amazon doesn't currently sell financial services on its marketplace. The bank will use the pilot to test out selling on Amazon, potentially setting it up to sell its financial products on the platform in the future.
And while there would likely be regulatory hurdles to offering financial services on its platform, if Amazon is able to overcome them it would become even more of a one-stop shop for consumers, potentially boosting consumers' loyalty to the firm's marketplace.
How Latino Immigrants "saved the American city" - Marketplace

The following is an adapted excerpt from A.K. Sandoval-Strausz’s book, “ Barrio America: How Latino Immigrants Saved the American City .” In it, he details how Latino Immigrants to the United States helped reserve decades of urban decay and revitalized American cities.
The urban crisis was a very real set of problems that afflicted the nation's cities for decades. It involved a complex constellation of pathologies but is most easily understood as having five main elements: population loss, economic decline, fiscal crisis, rising crime and the racialization of all the above.
